eXposure is our signature program that provides college students with insight and exposure to the multi-media industry. Open to both High School and College Students who have interest in Television and Film production, Radio, Media, Public Relations or live event production are selected to participate in opportunity building events throughout the year.
History of eXposure
It’s no secret that HBCU’s are continuing to operate under limited funds and little resources, especially during the current economic recession. And, with financial loss come cuts to vital areas such as technology, equipment, adjunct professorships, and guest speakers. Seeing this as a major hurdle for these college students, Executive Director, Don Napoleon launched eXposure as a way to provide students with the resources and opportunities they need.
Through eXposure, HBCU graduate and television/film producer Don Napoleon found a way to give back to his colleges, other struggling universities and HBCU’s by providing students with the opportunity to learn about the latest technologies, equipment, and tools to help them in their pursuit of a career in multi-media.
Don Napoleon is an award winning producer and graduate of Virginia State University and currently serves as a producer, videographer, and photographer in the Washington, DC area. Don credits his success to meeting the right people, making the right connections, and being eXposed to the right tools and resources. He knows the struggles and obstacles of “making it” in the highly competitive field of television and film production and feels it is only right to give back what he has learned.
